A few changes are in store for Pace Dial-a-Ride beginning January 1:
- Reservation hours will be expanded; riders can call from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to reserve rides the following day.
- Rides to medical appointments may be reserved up to a week in advance.
- Fares for the service will increase to $2 a ride and riders will no longer be able to purchase 10-ride tickets: instead, fares will be cash only and paid directly to the driver.
- Drivers will not carry change; exact change will be required.
