Locations to Recycle your Holiday Lights

Here are two convenient locations where burned-out holiday lights can be recycled:

Barrington Public Works
300 N. Raymond Ave., Barrington
24-hour drop off box outside office entrance through mid-March.
Accepted for recycling: mini-lights (or Italian lights), C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights, and extension cords. All colors and lengths will be accepted. The Village will not accept garland, live greens, wreaths, or other non-recyclables.

Prairieland Disposal & Recycling
21988 N. Pepper Rd., Lake Barrington
M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sat., 8:30 a.m. - noon
