Yard Waste

Yard waste is collected weekly beginning April 1st through November 30th. Yard waste is picked up the same days as regular garbage. Leaves, grass clippings, small twigs and landscape debris should be bagged in biodegradable paper yard waste bags available at numerous retail outlets. Yard waste placed in plastic bags will not be collected. A yard waste sticker must be applied to the top of each bag where it can be viewed by the Waste Management crew.

The sticker cost is $1.75 each. Call (800) 964-8988 to order stickers through Waste Management. Stickers are also sold at ReMax NOW in the Market Place and Mower Works at 22166 N. Hillview Drive, corner of Hillview and Northwest Highway. Mower Works hours are Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Yard waste stickers can also be purchased online by clicking the gold Make a Payment button on the left side of the Home page. Be sure to add your contact information so they can be mailed to your home.  You can also buy stickers by sending in a check to Village Hall with your order.

Brush and branch material should be placed at the curb in bundles not exceeding two (2) feet in diameter and four (4) feet in length and tied with string or twine. Waste Management will not collect brush and branches that are not bundled. Branches should not exceed 3" in diameter. A sticker must be applied to each bundle where it can viewed by the Waste Management crew.
